Nestled high on the bank of the River Tamar, just South of Gunnislake, Coldharbour is an idyllic location to build a house, with view South and East over the Tamar towards Dartmoor in the distance.
We have been commissioned to design a new dwelling to replace an agricultural barn on the site of a small holding.
A simple volume, referencing a traditional barn profile, along with local vernacular materials creates a new home that can benefit from extensive views over the Tamar Valley AONB and World Heritage Site.
